Latisse® helps your lashes grow longer, fuller, and even darker. An FDA-approved prescription treatment manufactured by Allergan (the maker of Botox), Latisse® is used to treat hypotrichosis (inadequate lash growth). Like our skin, our lashes age over time and can become brittle, short, and weak. Latisse® conditions and restores your lashes to a more youthful state.
THE PROCESS
Tint your brows to a new shade in just minutes for a stunning look that lasts weeks! Arrive at your appointment makeup free to ensure the tint takes evenly and deeply to your brows. You and your licensed aesthetician will discuss which shades of color will look most natural with your features. She will then protect your eyes and the tint will applied and left to process. Your eyebrows are then rinsed to remove any color residue. You’ll return home with beautiful new color!
Latisse is applied to your lash line each night with a small disposable applicator, much like how you would apply liquid eyeliner. The active ingredient in Latisse, bimatoprost ophthalmic solution, gradually increases the duration of your lashes’ growth cycle, encouraging them to grow longer and fuller.
THE RESULTS
Tinting provides instant gratification and results that last three to four weeks. Your tint may appear darker for a couple of days before it fades to your ideal hue. Stay on a schedule of monthly tinting to keep your color consistently fresh and vibrant.
Latisse® takes up to 16 weeks to see full results. Many of our patients start seeing lashes start to lengthen at five weeks and are happy with their results at week eight. But, it is important to continue your nightly application for a full 16 weeks to see optimal lengthening and thickening. Your licensed aesthetician will discuss how to maintain your luscious new lashes throughout the year.
Latisse® may cause brown darkening of the colored part of the eye or the eyelid skin which is likely permanent. Only apply at base of upper lashes. DO NOT APPLY to lower lid. Hair may grow outside the treatment area. If you have eye problems/surgery, consult your doctor. Common side effects include itchy and red eyes. If discontinued, lashes gradually return to previous appearance.
