ABOUT MEGAN
When Megan was suffering from cystic acne in her 20s, a frustrated dermatologist told her that she should be prepared for the possibility that it may never clear up. She refused to accept this for an answer and instead, took matters into her own hands, and registered for esthetics school! Before long, she had successfully cleared up her acne and has now spent close to a decade helping clients with their skin concerns and enhancing their self-confidence.
Megan appreciates that the skincare world can be confusing and overwhelming to clients. That’s why she favors a simple, straight-forward approach that seamlessly fits into her clients’ lifestyles and positions her as your navigator and coach. Megan likes to spend time educating you on exactly why she is recommending key products and treatments so you understand how they will improve your skin and get you closer to your goals. She approaches her clients with energy, warmth, a great sense of humor, and a lot of understanding. After all, you’re in this together and all victories are shared.
With advanced training in laser physics and safety, microneedling, and medically-based skincare, Megan is excited to be a part of a team at The Refinery that also places intense emphasis on education. In fact, she previously worked with The Refinery’s owner, Rebecca Suess, at another practice and has been referring friends and family to her for years. Megan feels immense pride in working at a clinic with providers who are at the top of their respective fields, yet show such incredible compassion to clients and deliver such a high standard of care and service.
When you can’t find Megan at The Refinery educating a client on the different treatments for acne or performing her favorite service, SkinPen®, you may find her scuba diving with her husband in some far off location. She is passionate about travel and exploring the underwater world. Travel has taught her that you get out of life what you put into it and to treat everyone with kindness because you never know the battles that others are facing behind closed doors.
