CoolSculpting is the #1 non-surgical fat reduction treatment in the world. Reduce fat in over nine different areas of your body by up to 25% with each treatment — permanently!
Are you struggling with stubborn fat that just won’t budge? When diet and exercise don’t seem to be enough, CoolSculpting can take your results further. This clinically proven, fat-freezing technology is entirely non-surgical and requires no needles or downtime.
CoolSculpting is a safe and effective body contouring treatment for individuals who are at or near their ideal body weight, have healthy eating habits and an active lifestyle, but still have stubborn areas of excess fat. It is not a weight loss treatment. Fat reduction and weight loss are two very different things. Losing weight doesn’t always lead to a more sculpted appearance, but fat reduction can change your body’s shape and contours.
How CoolSculpting Works
Did you know that the number of fat cells we have is set during childhood and only varies a little into adulthood? Just like other genetic traits, we all carry our fat differently throughout our bodies. For many, the battle against stubborn bulges of fat continues throughout our lifetime. That’s where CoolSculpting comes in. As it turns out, fat cells hate the cold. There is a specific temperature that people can comfortably withstand at which point body fat cells freeze and are flushed out of the body. CoolSculpting safely uses this innovation of “cryolipolysis” or “fat-freezing” to destroy unwanted fat cells permanently.
CoolSculpting Treatment Areas
The CoolSculpting fat freezing procedure can be performed in many areas of the body, with the most popular ones being:
Inner and outer thighs
Under the chin
THE COOLSCULPTING PROCESS
Once we determine that you are a good candidate, you and your provider will map out a customized treatment plan based on your goals for your body. Your provider will make some marks on the area to be treated and apply a clear gel pad. This pad creates a barrier between the cooling panel of the applicator and your skin.
Next, you’ll feel a slight sucking sensation as the applicator adheres to your body. You may experience some mild sensations of pulling, pinching, intense cold, and stinging during your treatment. These sensations quickly subside once the area becomes numb from the cold.
While the applicator is attached, you will be able to read a book, talk on the phone, work on your laptop, or even kick back and watch a movie. Most people find CoolSculpting® only mildly uncomfortable in the first few minutes of treatment. When your procedure ends, and the applicator is removed, your provider will perform a brief massage on the area to break up the treated fat cells and accelerate fat reduction, and then you’re free to go. Most people experience little to no downtime after treatment and immediately return to their daily activities.
When fat cells freeze, they die and are then naturally eliminated through your body’s lymphatic system. This process happens gradually, so it can take up to three months to fully realize your results. Most people start to see a reduction in the treated area around 4-5 weeks with continued improvements in the following months.
Because CoolSculpting® destroys up to 25% of treated fat with each session, you may need more than one treatment to reach your desired outcome. Treatments can be scheduled 4-6 weeks apart.
As the weeks unfold, you’ll feel your clothes begin to fit better, you’ll look better, and you’ll FEEL better! For many, CoolSculpting reshapes not only their bodies but also their confidence
